Using a carbon fiber pulley plate, they have shaved the weight down to 116 grams. When matched with 7900’s shifters, it also has an enhanced pulling cable method with a wider adjustable range for shifting, and can accommodate a wide range of gearing, including triples. If you are pursuing shifting excellence, the Dura Ace 7900 rear derailleur is the only choice. Max rear tooth capacity: 33t.
