If you are a cold sleeper or spend more time camping when your dog’s water bowl is frozen and the crowds are long gone, the Storm King is the bag for you. And let’s face it, some of the best times to see the backcountry are when there are no other people around!

Big Agnes takes a unique approach: their sleeping bags have no insulation on the bottom; instead they rely on Big Agnes’ sleeping pads (sold separately) to provide the required insulation beneath your body. The result is healthy weight savings. If you are a cold sleeper or spend more time camping when your dog’s water bowl is frozen and the crowds are long gone, the Storm King is the bag for you. Designed to work best with Big Agnes’ rectangular pads. Fits up to 5′ 10″, inseam 34″, chest 44″.Bag weight = 3 lb 3 oz. Blk/Blue.

We recommend getting a Big Agnes Girdle with your new sleeping bag so you can compress it down nice and small when you pack up your gear for the trail.

Features:
The Battle Mountain uses two insulation materials to insure its -15 degree temperature rating: 600 fill goose down on the top portion and bamboo synthetic on the bottom portion. This is the only bag in our line that has insulation on the bottom, between you and the pad.

The New Battle Mountain features Bamboo Charcoal Synthetic Insulation on the bottom of the bag. This insulation is an eco-friendly, renewable synthetic insulation derived from bamboo which is burned at 800??C temperatures to create a charcoal that is then spun into a synthetic fiber.
